My name is Pao I'm the artist behind Kaela. I’m a designer and illustrator originally from Argentina and now based in Byron Bay, Australia, with lots of stories along the way. I’ve being travelling for many years, exploring the amazing places around the world, following my adventurous spirit and my free soul. Getting inspired by the beauty, the cultures, and the places along the way which then I pour into my illustrations.

My artwork is a mixture of my previous years as a graphic designer, studying design and working in advertisement agencies in the big city, with my freedom of illustration discovered as self-expression after I started traveling solo. Taking the graphic styles of posters composition and calligraphy and mixing it with painting and illustration technics, makes what I can call, my style.
